If you are hosting a sleepover birthday party for your child, stock up on plain white pillowcases and plenty of craft items. Kids can design their own pillowcases as an interesting party activity and take the pillowcases home as souvenirs of the special night. Insert pieces of waxed paper into each pillowcase to prevent paint leakage. Party attendees can use fabric paint, stencils and foam stamps to customise their pillowcases with their names and patterns such as hearts, stars, rainbows and animals. To up the remembrance factor, ask guests to sign each others' decorated pillowcases.
