About a month ago, my smallest Acei started hiding, like he was being
picked on. No fin damage, nothing, still eating occasionally. Just
hanging out under rocks. Ultimately he died about a week later. This
behavior started about a month or so after the latest fish were added.
fast forward about another 2 weeks, and a German Red (smallest in the
tank again) starts hanging out in a similar spot, same results, no
damage, no chasing, just hiding all the time. Now I have a yellow Lab
doing the same thing. Guessing I know how this will turn out, but what
is the answer? Eventually there can only be one smallest fish, and I'm
not ready to watch a tank die off like this
