Sean Michaels is a co-president of ERS and a co-founder of FundingFactory. With limited web design and programming knowledge,
Michaels created the original FundingFactory website, which in 1998 was state-of-the-art with full account management and
e-commerce functionality. Since creating FundingFactory, Michaels has grown the program to serve to more than 50,000 schools
and nonprofit organizations nationwide by helping them raise over $26 million. Michaels earned a B.S. in Psychology from
Pennsylvania State University and a M.A. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
