Computer Recycling
"I don't recycle," proclaimed the T-shirt Randy Hartmann wore as he
walked through a group of diners at Tybee's Cafe Loco recently."They got stone-cold silent," Hartmann said. Then they started chatting about recycling among themselves, which
was just the response this guru of Georgia recycling was trying to
elicit.Last week, Hartmann's Office of Environmental Management at the
Georgia Department of Community Affairs launched its "I don't recycle"
campaign. The reverse-psychology effort is meant to tweak interest among
24- to 35-year-olds, the demographic among which it's easiest to change
recycling habits.
