Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides

Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides

Cystic Fibrosis is a lung disease which causes muscles to contract to where breathing becomes a problem. Consumming the right medications make life easier for CF patients. People with CF have an average life span of just 30 years. With your help, our event will raise money for the medication CF kids need to prolong their survival rate. Interim University of Southern Mississippi Athletic Director Jeff Hammond will be the celebrityreferee for the 22nd annual Delta Tau Delta Cystic Fibrosis Sports Challenge and 2012 Great Strides Walk. The event will be held on the Southern Miss Hattiesburg campus Saturday, March 3 from 8:30 a.m. to noon on the fitness trail at the Payne Center, with Delta Delta Delta sorority serving as event co-host.
